The spell is not working

Yes, shapeshifting spells don't work.

Since shape shifting is not possible maybe this spell could be used when using feathers in rituals or getting closer to birds I dunno

Could this be just having the persons soul transferred into the bird? Because Im a little new but with the knowledge I have, you cant shapeshift

as this spell is outlines it doesn't work. however, you are correct that, while physical shapeshifting isn't possible, there are forms of mental, spiritual and astral shifting that are.

You cannot physically transform into a bird.

You Can never change anything already made-For example- DNA
