There are limits to what magic can do. Transformation, teleportation, time travel, mind control, and other things of that nature are not going to happen with magic. If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably fake.

If you are new to magic I suggest you start learning what magic is, how it works, what it can do and what it cannot do. The general information section of forum has many good posts stuck at the top to help you.

Keep in mind that spells on here can be created by anyone, so a lot are fake. Good rule of thumb is: if it breaks the laws of physics, it's probably not real.

I recommend that baby witches read the following forum posts:

Merry Meet

Magic is an energy that can bring change. Some can define it as in spell work where we focus the energy on a specific task, how the seasons change, even technology as magic. Simply it is a force that brings change. If you wish to use this to cast spells however, the limitations are that of the natural physical world we live in. You are human, any spell that claims you can transform or do something humans cannot naturally do is fake.

A spell can bring a new job or love your way not by having that thing appear before you the second you finish the spell, but by effecting the energy around you and/or the person/situation. You want to bring love into your life so the energy you send out is attracting love. People might not see it, but energetically you will be on a similar level and be attracted to each other like magnets. You still need to put in the work of meeting new people and creating deep connections, but the spell will bring more opertunities to find new love.

Long story short I suppose, if it is too good to be true it most likely is fake and will not work.

Blessed Be.

Magick simply doesn't go against science. Magick is a natural force; it has to work with nature, not work against it.

If you mean science is greater than magic as in it's much more conventionally understood and you can perform rigorous tests on it then yeah. But magick, true magick, still follows the laws of science and it does work. Its effects can be more subtle or ambiguous, but it's still as real as science is.

There are different signs wether the spell is real or fake for example the language will me very modern compared to real spells that use Latin or very early Shakespearean-esk language
I have been practicing magic for years now and I still find spells that are terrible and don’t work.

Blessed be.

Regarding magick as science, to a degree. Historically magick was knowing you could mix these herbs together to cure a cold [which today would be scientifically proven] magick is a natural, neutral force, found in nature. It works with nature to bring a desired change. Science doesn't trump magick any more than it trumps nature, it just brings a new understanding to the world. When you cast spells what you are doing it giving this neutral energy around you a charge to do a task [attract love, repel an enemy] that's what spells are for, bringing a natural change only quicker than if you went about it on your own. Magick is an energy that brings change. From caterpillar to butterfly, or turning water into electricity, these are changes and in a way could be consider magick to some [speicifcally those who practice witchcraft from an atheist path and don't cast spells] honestly, I waist Brysing was still alive, he was great at explaining magick to people.
