Think of a deceased person you knew or heard of in your family and chant this reading:

Spirit show yourself, spirit reveal, spirit come to me so I know your real!

You should now see or hear a spirit.

NOTE: Only you can see the spirit as it is only you who said the words, unless two or more people said it.

I doubt it, but you can always try. I would cast a circle, get an object the person owned or a photo of them, then meditate. When you feel the time is right, say the chant, then continue to sit in a meditative state [relaxed, not void of thoughts] give yourself time, and make note of anything you may feel, hear, see, sense, or smell as not everyone can hear spirits. I would also work on ways to increase your psychic abilities to increase your ability to communicate with spirits. Also, be aware of the veil between our worlds, when it's at its thickets, it's more difficult to communicate.

A chant will not grant you the power to see spirits. You need to practice your psychic abilities to gain the ability to see spirits. Even then, not everyone can. Their are different clairs for every voyant, since they correspond with each of your senses. You might discover you are an empath, or sense spirits but do not see them. Improving your psychic abilities does not guarantee you will see spirits.
