Just in the past few months I have been getting almost boomed with ppl wanting to cross over. If I pass a funeral I get that spirit asking me for help or if I see on tv that someone has passed they find me. Don't get me wrong I do love that I can help, but sometimes it really catches me off guard. I have a friend and her fiancee passed away 9 months ago and whenever I talk to her he takes me over. I'm glad I can comfort her and help all that I have. I was just wondering if this happens to many others?
Trust when I say I get caught off guard very often. I just saw a murdered teen on a billboard then the next thing I know hes in the passenger seat of my car asking me to help him. I do what I can because each spirit is as different in death as it was in their life ya know. You just need to set up rules and boundries, there is no excuse for being taken over by any spirit weither its a loved one or not. Im not saying hes a bad one or anything like that its just that if he is capable of doing it, then something else might try to do the same. You as a living being are important and need to protect yourself, so sit them all down and explain the rules, no bedroom or bathroom enterences. I also like to light insences for them to make them feel confortable and help them ease over and make the transition as comfortable and relaxing as possible. A white lit candle placed on the widow seal helps some and talking with them helps others. I admit it is a bit much at times but everyone and everything need a little bit of help once in a while, but do not allow them to walk all over you. Like the saying says " you give them an inch, they take a mile."
Understand that helping anyone in a way you guys are, helping a soul pass on, is one of the greatest things you can ever do for a person or a soul, it will back to you all, all the grace of the gods and the afterlife will still come to you all as thanks for the things you have done, just be open to it when it happens ;)
When I was younger it would happen to me a lot. It would pretty much be a split between seeking help to cross over and asking to give messeges to loved ones ( which eventually lead to helping them cross over anyways ).
I looked like a crazy person walking up to perfect strangers giving them a messege and praying they wouldn't deck me.
I tried to stop listening after a while. It got to be to much for me, so I don't get bombarded anymore.
I can still hear/see them if I allow myself, and of course the softie in me see's someone upset after a death I try and allow messeges come through.
