This article covers energy healing over long distances.

In the event of serious illness or injury, seek proper medical attention.

Absent Healing:

As the name suggests, absent healing is a form of healing in which you need not be near an individual to heal them. There are a number of ways to do this, both by coven workings and solitary workings. Both types will be discussed and explained in the following paragraphs.

The first thing to remember before performing or attempting any type of healing is that you must first have the permission of the individual upon which the healing will be performed. Once the permission is obtained, there are a few other things that you need to know before trying to heal the individual. These are:

1.The individual's name.

2.Their location

3.What exactly is wrong with him/her

4.How they became ill or injured

5.Their medical prognosis, if one exists.

Both coven members and the solitary practitioner need to take the above listed information into account before proceeding with the healing process.

Absent Healing in Covens:

Members must decide on the best method to raise the energy needed to heal the individual. Some methods include forming a cone of power (a cone of energy as wide as the circle that is created by dancing or chanting words of power within the circle) which is then directed at the ill individual. Others involve the coven members directing the energy toward the coven leaders who then direct it toward the ill individual. The focus of the energy being sent out is of course being on speeding the healing of the individual. When the energy is sent all members of the coven or the coven leaders, depending on who is sending the energy, need to visualize the individual being completely healthy and well. The healing can be performed as many times as is felt necessary.

Absent Healing by a Solitary Practitioner:

The solitary practitioner heals the individual in much the same way, the difference being that they alone raise and send out the energy to heal or assist in the healing of the individual.

Healing Methods:

There are several healing methods that can be used for absent healing these include energy healing, as mentioned above, healing with poppets, candle magic, etc. The choice or choices is up to the individuals or individual involved in the healing process.

Yes, this is a good bit of information to help with performing a 'remote' working. There are many tools and practices out there, of which some very good ones are listed here.
