You will need the following items for this spell:

  • Voice (Optional)
  • Book

Take a card and put it in the book. Close the book. Chant aloud or to yourself:

''I want a bird card, give me a bird card. Make this card fly! So mote it be.''

Open the book and the card should fly around by itself while staying within 5 feet of the book.

To get it to stop flying, close the book. The card only flies while the book is open.

You cannot make playing cards fly with Real Magic, at best you could create the illusion with stage magic.
