You will need the following items for this spell:

Visualize a golden sphere around you or your target. You may chant these two words to help charge it and help it: "hedera calo" and or "hedru kini". Either in your mind or say it out loud. It's recommended to visualize the words themselves on the shield. Now to use it for your purposes simply set your intention to what you want it to do (like give it an order, order labeled on shield is recommended).

Basic shielding. The chanting is optional, like the author said. You also do not need to use those specific words. Whatever helps you charge energy and feel protected will work.
