Technically, you could invite negative energy into your space, but I do wonder why? Nobody chooses to be bogged down with negativity. Even people you think would be like goths are not walking around constantly negative. You do not have to follow toxic positivity to walk in the light, and you do not have to sit around miserable if you walk in shadow. It is about balance.
