This should be fleshed out into a ritual. What is the ''right thing'' exactly? Some feel the death penalty is the ''right thing.'' I would create a ritual to assist you in making a code of ethics, or mild shadow work to determine what your moral compass is. It is important you determine what is righteous for you, so you can fall back on your morals when you come into difficult situations. Without a code of ethics, this is why witches curse out of anger, only to calm down and regret it. There is no holy book in witchcraft and Paganism that tells us what is right and wrong. You must determine that yourself.
