As you prepare for bed, light the candle. Chant: "Little light, burning bright in the day or in the night. Keep me warm, forever more: tonight, tomorrow, yes for sure". Next, put out the candle and go to bed.

This does not work. I would use this chant for more of a protection spell, but I would not light a candle only to immediately put it out. As for keeping you warm for forty-eight hours, no.
