would this cause any backlash to me if they actually ended up getting punished?

No... from what I gather this is only to help Karma with the right path to go down.. Or in a way to give Karma a heads up that this person needs to be dealt with.

Hi, so I just cast this on my friend because I was mad about something she had done a while back. After it finished burning I realized I didn't want to hurt her in any way. How do I undo it?

This is why you think before you cast. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but let this be a lesson for you. If you're being fueled by your emotions, it can give extra power to your spell, but you are not thinking clearly. In future, take a deep breath and think. I suggest making a code of ethics for yourself [personal rules to live by] so when this situation comes up in future, you don't make the same mistake twice. For this particular spell, take a white candle and a picture of your friend, visualize a shield surrounding your friend, repelling negative energy, then chant ''what was done, I now undo, I send the spell away from you.'' This probably won't stop the spell completely, but it should lessen the impact. You could also consider giving her a protection charm [say a necklace] as a gift to protect her from any lingering energy.

Hi does this work I cast It tonight on some who deserves it

I'm not entirely sure if it works as is since it seems a bit too simple.

This spell is plausible, but as outlined, it does not seem to do much. I know many Witches converted from Christianity, and you need to get out of this good and evil, black and white mindset. Magik is neutral. Your intention gives it a positive or negative charge. Life is shades of grey. If someone attacked you and you defended yourself and the person got injured, is it your fault? Some would argue yes, some no, and others would say to an extent. Magik is the same way. You could curse someone who hurt you and be morally justified for doing it. If you feel morally wrong for cursing someone, do not curse them. It drives me crazy watching people find loop holes to spells when they really want vengeance on someone who wronged them. Whether or not a spell is right or wrong can only be determined by you. No divine being will hold you accountable. Yes, there are universal scales that keep balance, but it not some vengeful being with a clipboard waiting to punish you for taking a single step out of line. If you know ribs give you heartburn and you ate a plate of ribs, do not blame a divine being when you feel sick later.

You need energy and you need to be specific when casting. As outlined, there is not enough detail or Magik to do anything. Unless you add to it, or the person was already on their way to being punished, this spell will not do much. When you do things, you charge the energy around you. If you focus on negativity, your life will be filled with negativity. Focus on the positive, positive energy. Karma only kicks in after we die, so calling this a karma spell is not accurate. There is the Threefold Law, but that is a Wiccan belief, and commonly misinterpreted. If you do not believe in it, do not worry about it. Most spells which backfire is actually the negative energy you conjured but did not cleanse after casting. It is like wearing muddy boots into your house and never washing your floor. Of course the floor will be dirty!

Take time to journal and meditate on the situation. IF you feel it is justified to punish them, cast the spell. If you feel karma will get them in the end, focus on your healing. You could also do both. Gather up all the negative energy and send it unto them. That is a return to sender. They hurt you. Their action caused negative energy to be placed unto you. Give it back, then cleanse, protect and move on. If you hex someone, then worry about what could happen to you, you are charging negative energy and unintentionally cursing yourself. Easier said than done, but be confident. You can do this. You know yourself better than anyone. If your gut says they deserve karmic retribution, go for it, and hold your head high knowing it was deserved. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise when it comes to your Craft.
