Dear All,
I'm making a private research about "dragons" and would be very thankful about any information, stories, places, books you can share with me.
Cheers
Alex ;-)

I would recommend the youtube channel "Dragonfaether369" draconic wicca was / is one of her practices so you should check there. Also, Dragons are very "aggressive" in the sense that if they don't want to work with you they will make that very well known. And that they are very particular on who they work with so don't feel bad if they reject you.

There is also a YouTube channel which I have fallen in love with over the last while. They specialise in history, folklore, and storytelling/story tropes in literature. They did one on dragons and though it is focused on their presence in stories and fables it goes pretty in-depth.

https://youtu.be/3eXAPwjASEQ?si=pJmgha5eco22-7sJ

They have a couple other videos involving specific dragon stories in history so do some hunting. They can be quite insightful. (And also pretty funny sometimes.)

D.J. Conway's 'dancing with dragons' series can have some useful information as well, though I would look at it more as a primer rather than a complete picture. ...Actually, the same can be said for most sources when it comes to Dragons and their Ilk. Dragons are like people; they come from many places and fulfill many roles, and are well and truly individuals in personality and specialty. And that is before considering at what level/perspective you are viewing them from.

Nekoshema wrote out a great article here;
https://www.spellsofmagic.com/coven_ritual.html?ritual=2269&coven=6

And I scribbled down a few sentences of my own here;

https://www.spellsofmagic.com/coven_ritual.html?ritual=3951&coven=578

In the end, though, dragons can mean many things to many people. They are old, primordial, representative of the acme of strength and/or the purity of the elemental nature of a place (like rivers or mountains). They can be wise (if mischievious) guides and potent guardians, who tend to bring about empowerment and rapid change/growth through driving intense (for some, overwhelming) shadow-working, and they can be co-magicians who bring along the same potency of energy as any deity or ascended master.

The key is to not just learn about them, but to connect with and learn from them. You will find that you will form connections with dragons who are attracted to you by your goals and personality/nature. Once you start getting to know those who come about to help you, treat their form and nature as yet another mirror/symbol of yourself and your journey.

WOW, haven't seen DragonFeather's name in a long time [yes, totally watch DragonFeather]

D.J. Conway's kind of an iffy source [she's got a fluffy bunny reputation] but you should read her work as she was the first person to write about it [so, more for history than facts, although I did like her guided meditation in the first book] Shawn MacKenzie wrote some books on Dragon Magik which aren't bad.

I used to frequent a number of Dragon Magick sites back when I was starting out, but that was 19 years ago and most have vanished. Luckily, one still remains that's pretty good IMO

Yeah, when I was a intermediate witch a long time in my opinion I used her videos to learn about the fae , that would have been back when I was in middle school I believe. I found her videos very good though I never had wanted to learn draconic wicca I was a Wiccan-Witch at the time so I found her through wiccan research
