Forget social anxiety?

I have recently had something pointed out to me, which I wont say, but I was wondering if anyone knew a spell to make someone forget social anxiety for a short period of tome, or even just a confidence spell that gives them a confidence boost?

May the stars watch over you,

I suppose there are a few things that one can do to give a boost of confidence. Though what would work best might depend on the nature of the anxiety itself. Is it a generic fear of being the center of attention (Ie stage fright)? Or is it a fear of forgetting what to do or say? Or of being heckled/asked unforeseeable questions and having no answer?

A general confidence booster is helpful, but being more targeted also can give a more specific sense of preparedness. For example meditation and focus on the throat chakra, with imagery of clear and confident speech could help with fears of failing to communicate or find your public voice.

Having a charm etched with a futhark rune, word, or phrase of strength and confidence might help too if that sort of thing resonates. Or a talisman like a quartz crystal pre-pragrammed with thoughts and energies of confidence. Or an amethyst (calm), obsidian (mental balance) or turquoise (release of fears and also increase of intuition). Or if you follow a more animistic/shamanistic path having a shark tooth, bear claw or tooth, or a feather or claw from any raptor/bird of prey that you have a connection with could be a solid source of confidence through tuning in to their archetype and echoing the strengths they represent.

If you worship, a prayer and offering to a deity whose domain includes inspiration, wit, and public speaking wouldn't go amiss either. Perhaps Dionysus(hellenic) or oghma (gaelic) would offer a hand on the shoulder and inspire an attitude of social gaeity, confidence, and eloquence to an upcoming speech or performance.

It's more a fear of what people think when they see me. But thank you for the other advice

We recently had a discussion about ways to improve self-confidence. I added a long post to the thread and there are several other good suggestions there. You might want to check this out at https://www.spellsofmagic.com/read_post.html?post=958900
