A Memory Spell or Ritual

I agreed to do some palm reading at a new year's eve show and I am having alot of difficulty retaining information that I'm studying.
I have some experience but not much, just trying to find the correct candle colors and a rune that I can etch into the candle for retaining information and memory strengthening.
I'm kind of on a time limit because the moon moves out of Virgo (which I've researched is the best time to do a memory spell) on the 22nd.

Rosemary is good for memory. Some will chew it while studying. Others wear it pinned to their shirt collar or carry it in their pocket during tests or exams. Alternatively, I found that if I write things on different colored note cards and read over them, it tends to help me more easily memorize things.
