Cutting cords

I have a question, i've been looking for a spell to cut the cords berween two other people. It's a friend of mine who needs the help of cutting all the ties to an abusive and toxic ex-Gf. He just wants to get over her but can't and he asked me for help. I can only find spells for me to do it between me and another person. He is not in shape for doing this alone and i want to help him.

i would design your own ritual. you can do it as a group [more energy] but the actual climax of the spell [be it cutting a cord or saying the chant or whatever] should be done by your friend as it is that person you're casting for. a simple one off the top of my head is anointing a white candle with death oil, visualize a barrier between the two and chant something like 'for all the times you did me wrong, leave my life i want you gone, for all the times you caused me pain, don't ever come around again, harm to none and rule of three, as i will it so more it be' [please note, death oil doesn't mean it's used to kill someone, it's used for ending a habit or ending a situation]

if you wanted to make some TheLadyGraveDancer has a recipe for it, but if you really don't want to use death oil, i would put olive oil on the candle and roll it in powdered herbs/spices you've enchanted that have protection, breaking habit, spiritual defense etc properties.

If you are wanting to do a chord cutting as well, you can do the spell as normal, just make sure your friend is there with you and declared as within the circle (if you draw/close one). You can commit the focus and energy and will for most of the setup, then just make sure that your friend is the one holding the knife/scissors and does the critical actions. IE; making the actual declaration of ending the connections, and physically being the one to sever the chord.

That way you are not doing a spell where he happens to just be there for it. Instead you are leading him through a spell that he is still taking an active part in.
