I was wondering if someone could help me and give advice. I am planning out a spell and was wondering when in the calender would be best. I want to be creating a protection charm/talisman.
I was thinking of hanging the charm outside during the first night of the full moon and then doing the spell (which I am still working on!) on the next night.
I've tried reading about it but I keep getting confused. Any help would be very much appreciated. Apologies if I'm asking something too stupid/obvious.
How exactly will the protection work? Will it attack anything that attacks you? Will it help you escape problems? Will it help you avoid them all together? Will it bind whatever's attacking you?
you should try and pick the days depending on how your protection functions, for the attacking anything that attacks you, mars/tuesday. For the binding, saturn/saturday and so on.
Thank you for the reply and your help
.
I am still working on/listening for the wording but I know it is protection from fear and pain which I seek. My thoughts are that it would be banished but as I'm sure you can tell I am uneducated and naive.
I'm not certain would be the answer to your question. And as such I'm not sure how to proceed.
As far as banishing fear and pain goes, they're a necessary and important part of your psyche and as such I don't think they should be banished so much as controlled.
As such, I recommend either Saturday so that saturns influence can help bind your fear and pain so as to allow you to control them (or just straight up bind them if you still wanna go through that route).
simple way to remember, waxing moon the moon grows bigger, so it draws things towards you. waning moon the moon grows smaller, so it pulls things away from you.
all spell work comes down to personal opinion, you don't have to cast based on the moon, many just feel the flow of the energy and believe casting with the natural flow can make it easier for said spell to work. [it can get really confusing when you cast by the days of the week and even the planetary hour. i get confused just looking at the chart! http://www.angelfire.com/de2/newconcepts/wicca/lunarcorresponds.html]
