What are the purposes that you hope to find with magick?

I shall go first.
My purpose with magick was to find if a normal person can actually see something that is beyond than his own bored world.
What i really seeked was just this,the universe and what is soul power.

same my purpose is to find something else in this boring world that repeats everyday

There are many types of magick; low and high, small and arcane, black, white and gray etc. One could say that magick is whatever you want it to be and I personally agree with that theory.
Mef's theory I'm not too sure of because alot of witches in this millenium use magick to get through everyday life and for other basic needs (e.g. getting more money, making a person love them, luck, safe travel etc.) which isn't really going that far off from ordinary life.
