That REALLY depends on the question. Any moderator, if your question grabs their attention, is a wealth of knowledge. That's(as I understand it) how they got that position. Additionally, this is a community dedicated to helping teach each other and learn in the process...so to put it briefly, anyone.

Be careful of who offers you knowledge: people can lie and may be fluffy. Research and ask questions to gather information from multiple sources: just one won't be enough to be sure about the knowledge you receive.

A Moderator is not here to give knowledge; more to give guidance in what the Moderator believes to be the right direction. To "moderate", for language,insulting remarks,to have members obey the rules of the site. To gag the scams. To make the site run smoothly. Of course, Moderators will also try to answer questions if they think the questions are sensible.
