Mother Hecate protection Chant

Heres my first protection chant I made with friends Well you can add some things in it Hope its good But any suggestions would help me on making chants..
If possible meditate and Imagine Mother sending her light and blessings to protect you..

In thy darkest hour, Mother please be the moon
that watches over thee. As I feel alone, Be the
path I walk, paved with your stone.
I call you Now ,With the hounds of yours to
banish the evils around Thee.
Oh Mother Bless your child and show the wisdom of your light to Me.
Mother, goddess, creator of all, your light
shines on us, letting no sins for us to befall. Thy
most precious gifts for us to receive, love and
light, protection from what is our own, we cast
this spell, hecate, let our safety be known )O(

I like your protection spell/ chant and I'm actually a fan of old English, but I was under the impression using the words thy and thee makes it seem like your placing the protection on someone else as thee is the same as the word you if i understand correctly. It seems like your referring to Hecate's darkest hour, the moon that watches over her, and the evil around her rather than yourself or the caster. You might want to delete your duplicate "No Subject" post for clarity though as they appear to be identical and this one is of course titled.

Also the line "protection from what is our own" confuses me a bit. Are you asking for protection from spells backfiring, karma, etc...?

ok thankyou well its my first chant and its for protection from evils and it can also be used for others too just need a symbol of mother hecate and meditate on them who need protection...
well I guess by practice I'll learn making chants..
