The supernatural transformation of a person into a wolf, as recounted in folk tales.
A form of madness involving the delusion of being an animal, usually a wolf, with correspondingly altered behavior.
It also is the name of a rare disease (Lycanthrope) in Wichita the person with the active "gene"/disease grows hair all over the body giving giving the person the appearance of being wolf-like. Lycanthropy being another terminology for Lycan which in turn is another term for werewolf. Were- meaning man hence man-wolf. Werewolf.
Munsai, wear wolves was originally a term for a murder so hideous, monstrous murderer. It was thought that if the monster is monstrous, why not make the murder a monster ,but still human to keep interest, and the wear wolves wear born.
Of coarse the term has been very adapted in modern times, but that is where the idea of wear wolves became mainstream, shape shifting humans have been though about for thousands of years.
Lycanthropy- Most people will imagine a werewolf howling to the full-moon and killing people cause he/she needs a blood... .... -___-
Lycanthrope is a therian who have wolf like his/her theri-kind. Therianthrope is human with animal soul who can change into his/her theri-kind (kind of his animal what hes changing to). There are also Polyweres what are therians with more than one theri-kind. A therian can change into his/her animal by using Shapeshifting: M-shifting (Mental shifting), D-shifting (Dream shifting), Ph-shifting (Phantom shifting- ears, tail, etc. made from PSI/Ki- energy), P-shifting (physical shifting).. M-shifting, Ph-shifting and D-shifting is possible (Own expedice). P-shifting is the most discused and popular type of shift, Some people believe some not but technically its impossible.
