If memory serves me well, the idea of the "book of life" is bringing up clips of the movie The Mummy(not sure if its 1 or 2 though). In which there is the Book of the Dead which gives life, and the Book of Life which takes it away. All of which has nothing to do with the so called Necronomicon.

SO, like the previous post stated, we need more info on what it is you seek and to what means. For what you seek might be found in some other book that is not called by the name of which you give it.

Glim

ok to answer why i believe it exists, well there cannot be dark without light everything is made in pairs, life and death, light and dark, love and hate, ying and yang, etc. So if the book of death exists then it would not be illogical for the book of life to exist, as to what it would contain, well im not sure about that probbably ways to preserve life, if the necronomicon contains darkness and death, then the zoinomicon must contain light and life, why did i call it zoinomicon well zoi means life nomicon means book zoinomicon=book of life just like necro means death so necronomicon means book of death. Why am i searching for it, well if i got into my FINAL goal then id have to start a completly new thread(and god now im sounding like some rping ***** from a videogame ugh) lets just say i find grimoires fascinating and i want to find a grimoire that can help me with what i hope to achieve with magic (again im not gonna get into that fully cause this is already getting too long)also no one has answered my question yet, does anyone else find it even remotely logical that this book exists because of the reasons that i have pointed out OVER AND OVER AGAIN and i am not sure it exists dia that is why i am asking if anyone else thinks its possible that this book exists, and also if this is all not enough I AM JUST CURIOUS AND HAVE A VERY OVERRACTIVE IMAGINATION. so i will ask again does anyone else think its even remotely possible for this book to exist?

The answer is no it is illogical for it to exist. Just read about the history of the necronomicon and you will find that it is a fictional book. When life is created dark becomes one with this when death comes around so does dark energies. Light energy is just something humanity created to balance things so they could feel like they had remote control over their lives and the shadows/demons that lurked in the shadows. All in all light energy never existed until humans came along (this is my theory).

Yup. Diamos is right. Before human's first came into existence, that big burning ball of fire in the sky was just a black hole waiting for a human to call it otherwise(this is my sarcastic way of saying I disagree with that theory, in case anyone doesn't catch on to that).

So far the necronomicon has not really succeeded in impressing me. Everything I have seen about it suggests that Diamos is right about it being a fantasy book, so I wouldn't put much faith into it anyways. As for the book of life, I don't know much about that either, but I would suggest you try using a search engine. Just type "zoinomicon book life" and see what comes up.

Nevermind that advice, I just used a search engine and this thread is all that was found. So, either you have the name wrong, or chances are it does not exist. If it does exist, it was probably lost and has yet to be discovered. I'm pretty sure if that were not the case somebody would have mentioned it somewhere other than just here.
