Awakening is the term used when going through the mental/emotional, physical and sometimes
spiritual change of realizing (or not) you are a vampire. These changes can occur at any age and
can be short, drawn out for years, emotional, confusing, chaotic or even unnoticed. Some have
reported being emotionally bombarded going from one emotion to the next. Feeling drained,
physically weak, light and temperature sensitivity can also occur. A change in body temperature
might be noticed, and frequent headaches ranging from mild to migraines may manifest as well.
Also one can go through several awakenings. Before I continue, many symptoms listed here or any
other place can also be explained by a medical condition. Do not take one or any symptom and
call yourself a vampire. There is so much more to it than anyone realizes.
Regular sleep patterns can become disrupted with insomnia, or just the opposite. Hearing and
taste may become more sensitive. Eating habits and patterns may also change. One might notice
they are able to feel energy and the emotions of others. A few may have premonitions, hear spirit
voices, prophetic dreams or disturbing or surreal dreams and out of body experiences. These will
not be true for everyone and therefor will not apply to all.
Not all awakenings are the same. There are rare instances of nosebleeds that can occur with the
awakening. The few cases are deemed rare due to the fact many communities scoff at the thought
that nosebleeds and other such things would be part of the awakening process. Only the few that
have been shared and linked to vampirism as told by others going through the awakening is shared
here. Not all are listed. If nosebleeds are persistent, as well as another other problem, do go to
your doctor, and if you are unsure if you are a vampire, do not assume a nosebleed means you are
a vampire.
I have to add that awakenings are different for all. As it is for me, I became more emphatic, sunlight now bothers my eyes a bit, I started sensing other things surrounding me, seeing auras, feeling them and even started today to see colors. I also began to feel literraly down when I was aloine rather than with other people and learnt to drain others' energy for use of my own. Add may add, I am a psychic vampire.
Actually those were all my symtoms as well. You might also feel like the sun maybe a bit bothering on your eyes, you like more to be at night, you manage to be weak when alone and maybe get depressed and start sensing something is near you without anything being near (you'll later get a increased perceptiion in any sense, In my case they were my eyes since I can know see auras). You might also easily tell there's something enveloping each people like something liquid around them withoutsomething actually being there (an aura)
There is nothing to fear about. We can walk during the day, just a minor bothering in our eyes or at the worst case scenario: a sunburn
The word "awakening" means something altogether different to me. It is the moment you realize you are both nothing and everything. It is when yourself becomes aware of your self.
Yes, the moment of Self awareness, awareness of yourself being nothing and all, ego death usually signifies the last moment and first moment of awakening depending on your perception and understanding of the moment. Very nice Thread ;)
The Awakening is different for every person. Some see it as a personal spiritual awakening, others see it as a universal/worldly awaking of people, and still others see it as a type of change in the natural order of things. Some see it as just one of these, two of these, or all three at once. Whatever you see it as there is an awakening of something weather it be yourself, others, or nature reclaiming itself, it will happen eventually if it hasn't started already.
