I really don't know where to begin. My great-uncle began researching my family tree 15 years ago and discovered that three of my ancestors were witches (one male & two females). I was very intrigued when I found out, as that explained why my grandmother was so odd with me when I suddenly developed an interested in Wicca at such a young age of seven. When I confronted her about her great - great - great aunts and uncle she went white. She said that she never wanted anyone to find out as our family were outcasts for so long because of our origins.
Anyway, I convinced her that I was truly interested and had always felt different from others, special in my own way. My gran put me in touch with my teacher, a cousin who still practices Wicca; I began my training right away.
I was initiated as a life-long member into her coven two years ago after 13 years of training, learning from the origins to the present day history of Wicca and rituals, herbs, potions, tonics and spells.
I see myself as a Witch or Magus but not, definitely not a Wizard or a Warlock. I mean no offence to Wizards, but I do not see myself as one.
