This is for protection during the snowy season (from slipping, having car trouble, etc). Make a new one each winter season. This is from the Yahoo Group Adult_Witchcraft.

Casting Instructions for 'Protection in the Snow'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • One peppercorn
  • A pinch of salt
  • Pinch of powdered ginger
  • Pinch of powdered cloves
  • A small piece of red cotton cloth
  • A bowl
  • Needle and thread

  • Needle and thread

Place the peppercorn in you bowl saying and visualizing: "I charge you with protection". Then place the salt while you say "I charge you with stability". Next, place the cayenne pepper while saying "I charge you with warmth". Place the ginger and cloves in while saying "I charge you with protection".

Mix the assembled spices and salt with your fingers, visualize yourself having a safe health, guarded time. Now transfer the herbs to the center of the cloth squares. Fold in half and in half again and sew up the ends. Carry this with you. Make a new charm ever snowy season.

Very nice winter protection. I would add something personal to it, since protections work best when you do not share them completely with others. If a witch knows how you protect yourself, they know how to get around it.
