You will need the following items for this spell:

  • Mirror
  • A sink, bath, anything that makes steam

Look at your reflection, and allow the steam to distort it. You'll still be able to see yourself. In the mirror, say calmly and with complete reverence:

"I openly accept the Rede, dark forces have no sway. I accept the forces that cause night and day, and guide myself in the Witch's foray."

This works for both witches and warlocks, if you replace the words.

The Rede does not apply to Witches. The Rede is part of Wiccan belief and practice and Wicca and traditional Witchcraft are two different things. The word ''Warlock'' means oath-breaker and isn't used within the Craft. You don't need a spell to become a Witch, you just have to study, learn and practice the Craft and then call yourself a Witch if that is what you feel you are.

I wanna say that warlock now doesn't necessarily mean oath breaker it's just a name to represent a male witch I'm sure there are some who are warlocks but don't break they're oaths I surely don't and I accept being a warlock only for good intention

Nope. Even today, most Pagans view the term ''warlock'' as ''oath breaker.'' Witch is a gender-neutral term the vast majority of Pagans use regardless of gender identity. You practice Witchcraft, you're a witch. There is a small subgroup trying to reclaim the term ''wizard'' but even then it's like 95% of witchcraft practitioners go with witch, 3% wizard and 2% other random titles like mage, sorcerer and warlock. [and then you factor in specific spiritual paths and those titles and the number gets even lower. You can follow Wicca and call yourself Wiccan, a witch or both. There's also going with Pagan, or Heathen, or Celtic or Druid or a slew of other titles. Point is, someone who knows what they're doing choosing to call themselves a warlock is incredibly rare]

There is no spell that will make you a witch. Practice will make you a witch. Witch is a gener neutral term, so anyone can identify as a witch. Warlock historically has a negative connotation and is not widely used. The Rede is specifically a Wiccan concept, it is not part of other witchcraft practices unless the specific practitioner decides so. You may use a ritual to formally dedicate yourself to practicing witchcraft, but it is not the spell that transforms you. Witches are average people who live in balance with the world. Some do not even cast spells. It is a very broad path.

You have powers. Everyone has powers. The problem is you have to practice. Witches are simply regular people who practice witchcraft. You study, then you do. You might fail, you might succeed, then you make notes and try again. A spell will not fast track you to the version you imagine in your mind. You need to take steps every day to become that person.

Tonight is a full moon, try making moon water. Place a glass of water in the window overnight. Be sure to set an alarm so you wake up and remove it from the window before the sun rises. Now that you have moon water, you can use it in your spells. Research moon water and use it however you see fit. Be sure to record how you feel before the spell, how it felt as you preformed the spell, and anything you might notice after the spell. If the spell does not work, you can make new moon water next month and try again.

Daily meditation and energy work can increase your abilities. If you are interested in tarot or other divination, pull one card each day and study that. Spend 30 minutes a day reading or practicing something that interests you about witchcraft. Eventually, it will become second nature and you can live your craft. There are dedication rituals you can do, but they do not give you powers. They are designed for you to say to your deities. the divine, or whatever you believe in, that you are starting your path that day and what you plan to do.

Samhain (pronounced sow-win) is right around the corner. Beltane (Be-al-ten-na) if you live in the Southern Hemisphere. Colloquially, it is Halloween. This might be the best time to start practicing. Not only is is easy to purchase items at this time, not that items make you a Witch, but the veil is at its thinnest point. This is seen by many Witches as Pagan New Year. The veil will keep getting thin until it reaches its thinnest point at Samhain and then will slowly begin to thicken once more. This means spirits are more active and your clairvoyant senses will be more natural. Many do divinations for the year ahead around this time. There are also a lot of love divinations and spells. Research Samhain and think of a few activities you would like to do to celebrate.

You are already a witch, because you are practicing witchcraft with all of these spells and potions.
