How many times do you say the chant? and how do you know if it’s worked x

A chant won't give you more magickal power, practice does [but this could help you practice] repeat the chant until you get into a trance-like state. You'll find a rhythm and get lost in the moment. Keep chanting until you feel you should stop. I usually end a chant by clapping my hands or stomping my feet. Something physical to quickly signal it's done [some people fall to the ground, slap the ground, bang a drum, ring a bell, tap the ground with their staff, and so on]
