Spouting gibberish will not give you a better singing voice.
It's Latin for ''a dull voice'' which is nonsense. Ask yourself, how is saying this, in any language, do anything? As the spell outlines, you do not center yourself, you do not charge energy, you do not visualize your desired outcome, you do not chant until you enter a trance, you do not practice once you are done, you just repeat eight times ''a dull voice'' in Latin, which most do not understand, and hope for the best. Furthermore, saying ''a dull voice'' would focus your intention on the opposite and give you a worse voice should this work. When chanting or setting intention, you should focus on the positive as if it is real. You would have better luck chanting ''my voice is nice'' over hebeo pio cantu vocem.
Wait, i find it, it is habeo(have/hold/own), Pio(appease,Propitiate,Pious), Vocem(voice), cantu(singing)[have appease singing voice]. The author must be typo. it's not hebeo(dull,blunt) but it is habeo. 14;
Thank you, that makes more sense, but it also proves my point. If you do not speak a language, do not do spells in that language. Witches started using Latin as a way to make spells sound old, but also to anger the church. Today, people just Google translate and call it a day. If you do not understand the language, you are weakening the spell. You will stumble over words, you will focus on if you are saying it right, you will lose focus on the intention of the spell. Anyway, back to the main point of the spell, there is no energy being raised, no goal being visualized, no practicing to achieve that goal after the chant. As outlined, this does not work.
