Close your eyes and concentrate. Imagine energy flowing out of your hands and feeling a tingle in them. Continue concentrating and pushing the energy out until your hands feel almost "static". This energy can be used to accomplish greater things.
I tried this and I started getting dizzy and flinching and opened my eyes and moved each of my fingers feeling a tingle. The energy I felt coming off my hands was black. Does this mean anything?
This is a pretty good starting point, though perhaps a couple thoughts;
First, visualize the energy coming through you rather than -from- you. Let the energy come from another source, be it from the elements, the sun or moon, the astral/spiritual planes, or something as simple as light from 'above'. This way you are not draining yourself.
Avoid blindly just 'pushing out' energy without a purpose or goal. It's akin to turning on a hose-sure you are spraying water everywhere but then it's gone and of no benefit. Might as well be a bucket of steam in an aircraft hangar. Have a goal or purpose in mind, and instead of just spraying energy out without direction, try shaping it. For example the classic 'psi-ball' by holding your palms close together and filling the space between. Or practicing focusing the energy into an object like a quartz crystal to charge it. Or just imagine the energy surrounding you like a warm cloud, filling your aura or a small (but specufic) space around you.
When you want to conclude the session of practice, then release the excess (extra energy beyond what you need) with an ideal of healing, upliftment, and 'love'. Or let it fall off into the earth. Or send it off to perform/act on whatever goal you may have held as your intent at the beginning of the session.
