That's not how reincarnation works. After you die you may choose your new life, or maybe the universe chooses for you, or perhaps you rest until being reborn, no one really knows. What is known is this all happens after death, not during the lifetime you're trying to experience.

You have no hope

How did you come to that conclusion? This spell claims you light a candle and say ''I will come back as a *blank*.'' That is not how reincarnation works. This is also not how spells work. Hence my statement ''this does not work.'' As for claiming I have no hope, please elaborate what you are referring to. Hope is a desire for events to transpire a certain way, sometimes despite logic. Do I hope for reincarnation? I believe in it, but I do not sit around hoping that is what happens after we die. I believe your spirits goes on to inhabit another form, but I do not dwell on the ''what ifs'' of the afterlife. I do not hope for things, I believe in things, and I will do what I can to achieve things. I do not wait around hoping for change. Or, to put it a more pop cultural way ''do or do not, there is no try.'' I find hope is the refuse of the lazy. To believe or long for something, to have a dream or goal in mind, that is one thing. But ''hope'' gives me a sense of someone refusing to take action because they rely on an unseen force to hand them what they want. So, I do not hope, I do what is needed to achieve my goals.
