How do I go about connecting with an entity in a different country? I do not think I need Astral, as that is (in my opinion) leaving oneself and watching. What I need is connecting and/or sharing with this entity. This entity is already open or has offered an invitation; I am just at a loss as to how to open myself to accept. Any advice?

I think the only way I can explain it would be to try to connect/share with another person in another country without using digital methods of communication. I already have a very strong "feeling" connection, where I can sense when something is wrong, hurt, etc. So, how does one go the next step to taking that feeling into mental communication?
My apologies to everyone if this was an off-the-wall question. I will continue to search within and without. Eventually, I will find out the answer or will just connect. Ha!
Firstly, you should never apologise for asking a question where you seeking help, no matter how silly you may think your question is. It's good to ask questions, because that's the only way you get answers.
So about your question, and in reply to it, is something more of some points i would like to present and some explainations you should take note of.
So for me, when you speak of connecting with an entity or person who is geographically apart from you, I think about energy and energy frequencies. In reality there is no time or space between frequencies that make up creation.
Energy manifestation and utilising energy manipulation is what you should be considering and by this I mean, think of the world or universe as being holographic, no time or space. So what you left with, is energy.
You have got to connect with a particular frequency of energy, something that resonates with you. You have got to focus your thoughts via this particular frequency and it's via your thoughts that you travel riding along that particular frequency, you manipulate this energy frequencies to your advantage.
Everything in creation is a frequency of energy. Your thoughts are a part of your creation. All frequencies of energy is around you. So if there is no time or space, the only next place for energy frequencies to reside will be in the mind realm.
Think of a person or place, and you can probably take up a place in their energy frequency. Resonate with them, feel them.
And I don't know if we are advanced enough, however if and when we are, we can connect with whomever or entity we desire. Try to maybe focus from a place of light, a place of love, because i see you are already open in picking up feelings or energies of pain and hurt.
Use your spirit guides and their spirit guides and send forth the energy of your own heart and mind to that person or entity you desire. See your energy manifesting, being felt, received and responded to. Feel the energy frequencies rush through yourself and radiate it outwards. The higher your energy frequencies are, the higher the frequencies you can access from the other persons energy and spirit guides.
Always remember that you are an energetic being. Use the power of your energy frequencies combined with your thoughts being the fourth dimension. Thoughts are so not bound by the three dimensional world, thoughts can travel and take you anywhere that they can resonate with, no solid, no space, no time.
So consider yourself as the centre of the universe. All is withing reaching distance of focus. All is here, and all is now. Including spirit guides. All is energy and all is Energy Manifestation.
