I have just learned of this site and would like to learn real Magick. Any pointers?

If your serious about practicing magic and you are a real witch (Your not here to , say IE: I want to fly on my broom like Harry, or throw fire from my fingertips) but want to learn real magic. Then I would first reccomend you understand the foundations of magical practice, research is a part of practicing magic, so a few books I would reccomend are:

"Before You Cast a Spell" by Carl McColman

"Spells and How They Work" by Janet and Stewart Farrar

"The Veil's Edge" by Willow Polson

"Modern Magick" by Donald Michael Kraig

Also, I do want to say (and this goes for any beginner) If you are a beginner Witch stick to your energy work, your basic practices , centering, grounding, visualization, energy manipulation, energy sensing, These things are all going to be really useful and make up the foundation of your magical practice. Anything on top of that is really a bonus. Herbs , crystals , and other items like candles are tools we can add into our practice but they aren’t a necessity for it.
