I'm Baaaa-aaack!

I, for one have had a very interesting weekend.

I lay down to rest for a while friday afternoon, and woke up smelling smoke. It was pouring thru my wall at the base of my window which has the beautiful scenic view of the alley and the back of the fumeral hone next door. Five minutes later, The fire Dept. Had arrived and was tearing my back wall out.

Had to carry everything outside. Been up three nights straight. Thank the Goddess I was home when it happened. If I hadn't been and the fire had of had a chance to work for a while the whole place could've gone up.

No one was hurt and for a miricle, nothing I owned was even damaged. but the guy doing the repairs, cut my phone line and just got that fixed this evening.

Then Sunday morning I was attacked by one of the guests at the motel. Nothing damaged there but my pride. HE'S lucky to be alive tho. I almost lost it.

Think someones trying to tell me something???

Oh my. Sounds like an incredibly trying weekend. I, for one, am glad that you weren't hurt, and personally a little proturbed. I hope everything lines out and that these were just bad happenings leading to a huge blessing.

I t was a pain, lol. My rabbits are still outside. Haven't been able to get them in yet. I think they like the change of scenery tho. And the kids here are falling in love with them. They seem to be enjoying themselves.

It was faulty wiring. This is about the fourth or fifth fire since I've been here.

Gad to know you are ok. I would be looking into this if this has happened before.

Take care

I was incrediblely lucky. After the fire I got to wondering why the smoke detector didn't go off. then after looking around, realized, there is no smoke detector in my room. If Dixie hadn't woke me up, or I'd gone somewhere that afternoon, I shudder to think what might've happened.
