Two classmates cheated in a game we played, is there a spell I can use to punish them? If there is, I am new to this so can you tell me how to cast it?

I imagine any hex would do, but do keep in mind that you need to ask yourself if it's worth your energy. I am pro-curse/hex, but you also do need to keep in mind that if you go around cursing everyone who wrongs you in the slightest ways, you'll end up being a pretty bitter person since you're constantly taking offense at the slightest things.

Did you lose anything, like money, an award, etc that matters to you? Are you okay with cursing them every time they cheat after this (they will, likely, not connect the misfortune from your hex with their cheating at a classroom game, so they won't stop cheating).

I'd wait a week and see if you're still this upset by it.

Not any Hex will actually do since not all hexes are curses or negative/bad/black magic. This is a common misconception about hexes in general as many hexes are actually positive/good/white magic. The hex sign is a great example, it can be utilized for various manifestations but most commonly known for protection.

I would practice caution when deciding to cast a spell to punish another for a slight you feel occurred, being as it can result in unexpected situations as you seem very knew to the craft. In my experience one places themselves on the scales of justice when casting any magic that is rooted in judgment of others. As you judge the victims of your spell for being cheaters you too will be judged by the cosmos. The real question is are you ready to face that judgment within yourself as you attempt to manifest punishment to match your judgment of others?

As for casting any spell you should research and begin to practice so that you can have a better understanding what is and isn't possible to accomplish with magic. Below are some excellent books to help get you started;

Not to sound rude, but based on the question it seems like your somewhat new in magickal practice. And this is not intended to be offensive, but for witches who know their stuff the kinds of spells they would be could be "binding spells to prevent the person from winning the game at all, cursework to make a negative event occur in the target's life, victory spells to help you win in the next round of the game, etc" Now, I'm not saying any of these things would be a witches go to, but in terms of victory spells you wouldn't want to do a Good luck spell because good luck workings work on the premise of, it's like a bank loan, the universe is giving you all the good luck you would have had in the future but all at once and then you kind of have to "repay" that in the form of "bad luck", though it would be nothing serious just equal to the type of good luck you received. Of course if you are new which I'm now seeing as I look at the bottom of your message. You should not start with spells, this is because you need to get a good foundation on your magickal practice. Understanding energy sensing, raising, centering , energy grounding, energy releasing, etc. Because you don't want to get yourself into a situation that you can't get yourself out of. On this site in particular I would recommend even taking somewhat of a look here:

If you are new then I Highly recommend you do not do a curse especially if you can't cleanse or cut cords yet

You should give it a few days just to see if it's what you really want and if it is maybe petition a deity for help
