A return to an old life

Hey all, I have never joined a site such as this as I come from a more traditional setting.

I have lost myself during life's journey and have found myself returning to where I need to be.

After a 10+ year hiatus and not having a parent to guide me back, I suspect some like-minded folks will be a good start. I would very much like to hear from like-minded folks and hear a bit about what led you here?

What really led me here is what I have come to discover as the dying out of old witchcraft and pagan forums. There used to be numerous back in the late 90s and now good ones seem harder to come by. I found this site and have been here under a few different accounts for about two years.

Sadly you are correct. Many of the forum and chat sites are dying out. Some people have moved to discord or amino as a way to stay connected with others. Some of us hang around here and hope for the best.

I came to this site in 2007 on the recommendation of a friend. I was looking to connect with like minded individuals while continuing my path. I have met a lot of great people here and I have enjoyed my time on the site. It saddens me that so many have left these earlier platforms of community such as withcvox, for other newer platforms such as discord (a space created to connect with othersbut named after disagreement or a lack of harmony, no thanks)but I am happy to be here for those that come along to learn and share : )
