I recommend looking into the mythology of Nyx. As well, you can try and search offerings to Nyx and see if that yields any suggestions or traditional offerings.

Most of the time when I work with a new deity I will research them if I feel called and learn about them. Then if I do intend to work with them I will sense intuitively what may work well for them. What they may accept as gifts.

As far as the chant I'd try running it through a translator. It looks perhaps to be Latin but I am only going on sight. I am no expert. Try Latin to English and see if it translates it.

Good luck.

I put the chat into Google translate and according to Google it says:

No sound resos er or

Not much help really but perhaps someone here can help you further decipher it.

It was a general statement, that perhaps someone else will see this and be able to help you further decipher the phrase. It wasn't referencing a specific individual.

Unfortunately the chant, which is in poor Latin, is a series of nonsense. It translates as " I clearly Reso night ixiri" so two of the words are nonsense groupings of letters.

There is an excellent write up about Nyx at https://www.theoi.com/Protogenos/Nyx.html that you might find helpful.

Nyx, or her Roman counterpart, Nox, is a primordial personification of the night. She is a motherly deity, but she is not a Goddess in the way that Athena or Aphrodite is because she came fromChaos directly, and was united with Gaia. Primordialmeans from the beginning, and even her offspring with her consort Erebus can confirm this since they are aptly named Morpheus (dreams), Thanatos (death) Hypnos (sleep, and twin of Thanatos. Has been referred to as "The Little Death") and a number of others.

She enjoys offerings from the heart, whether it's a dark poem that you've written, flowers that you feel embody her presence, or something personal. She is excellent to work on dream journaling with, and is good at pointing out obscure interpretations that are easily overlooked.

Theoi is an excellent sight that's use of terminology tends to be more accurate and insightful that other mythology sites. I would also recommend their write up.
