We are the masters of our own reality, and the whole of human evolvement has been centered around finding more efficient ways to direct, and manifest, one's intentions, desires, thoughts, and emotions. We did not always possesssuch a clear way to communicate with one another until we began putting thoughts and ideas into words. These "physical powers", that are spoken of, may be an indirect link between us and the manifestation of our will, which is equally mentioned by Gardner, Crowley, and Nietzsche. If you were to banish a spirit that flickered lights or caused guests to feel uncomfortable, would that be a singular or combined effect from physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual factors? I personally feel the answer is all of the above.
