Grimoire Question
By:

Is it okay to tweak a few things things written in grimoires to your liking. Like I dont feel like saying latin phrases as I wash myself before ritual. I want my self to be eclectic and I dont just want my path to be drenched in grimoire tradtions because I want my path to grow into something I like. So is it okay fi tweak grimoires to fit my liking?

If it is your own grimoire, you may do what you want with it, Personally speaking, grimoire grows with oneself meaning you add to it as you go. Your experiences, spells, adventures, dreams, etc. So yes you can tweak it to fit your liking and you don't have to write in Latin, simply English is just fine or whatever language you prefer.

My advice with the grimoires is to practice them as they are written or as close as possible a few times around. Understand in-depth the processes behind each word and action. Rewrite once you have the framework firmly down.

Also stick to the God names as written. Do not start plugging in other god names to evoke spirits. They are from a specific tradition and answer to names of that tradition.

If it's your grimoire, you can edit as you see fit. [my first one I wrote the first couple pages in runes] you can change and edit as you feel works for you.

I'm fairly certain Rizen is referencing formal Grimoires, not personally created ones.
