Meditation is the go to for a ton of things because it's the best way to get into the right frame of mind [thats why it's usually included in beginners guides] I know it's not glamourous or fun or easy, but you should try meditating, even for a minute before doing other work to contact your guides. It calms the mind and makes connection easier [you might also consider balancing your chakras or at least opening them before trying to contact your guides so it's easier to connect]
Astral Projection can help you have a face to face chat of sorts [but you need to be in a deep relaxed state and if you don't want to meditate for that long I would put AP on the back burner for now]
Pendulums, runes, oracle cards, tarot cards, skrying and other forms of divination can help you connect with your spirit guides. However this takes practice with each tool to get good enough at it to contact your guides and talk to them.
You can try asking a question before bed and recording your dreams the second you wake up [keep a pen and paper by your bed, especially if you struggle recalling your dreams. We forget 95% of our dreams in the first few minutes of waking] you can also try asking a question out loud and then just observing to see if you get any answers throughout your day. Keep an open mind because it isn't normally a voice whispering the answer in your ear but instead patterns or running into an old friend, or turning on the tv and the program just happens to be about your question.
Ok thanks, I was just wondering. I own a deck of tarot cards, a pendulum, and have used runes before but I’m still fairly new to all three. To be honest I didn’t exactly know I could use them to contact my spirit guide, I always thought it was someone/something different each time so it’s good to have all that cleared up.
