There's a rocking horse that keeps moving around my house. Can any of you give me some advice on this? It's my partner's 4-year-old daughter's rocking horse that she adores-doesn't move when she's here only when she's gone so I know it's not her moving it around. Selling it would be a last resort because it's one of her toys.Last night it moved from the main level for the first time to the master bedroom upstairs so it's worrying me a little more than usual.
well I'm not an expert at this but I bet the rocking horse is possessed by some kind of ghost or spirit.Maybe try sprinkling the rocking horse with holy water or find a spell that can free a spirit from an object
It may be the wind, make sure you haven't left your doors or windows open.
If it's a spirit rocking this object I suggest saying prayers and even trying to come in contact with this spirit through meditation, a spirit box, etc asking what it wants and why it's doing what it's doing. I would talk to your partner about this toy and perhaps getting rid of it, try to record some of the activity while she is gone. You could cleanse this toy with holy water, (as stated above) or even banishing this spirit by doing banishing rituals, spells, etc.
My advice would be to banish the spirit without talking to it, object haunting spirits are usually demons. This type of demon is strong and slightly harder to banish. They come to haunt toys because children will have a strong emotional bond with it, yet still I don't know all the details. Just remember that as humans we have a superior control over demons, it can't hurt you and it can't stay there so long as you know that it can't. You can talk to it when banishing it, but not with intentions for it to respond. Conversations with demons are high risk.
well someone could of moved it to the upstairs. regarding it randomly rocking it could be the wind,or the floors uneven.
on a spiritual level a spirit could of gotten attached to it, but as creepy as that might sound it doesn't mean you're about to be part of Paranormal Activity. i've lived with spirits since i was 6 and haven't had a bad encounter [a few jump-scare moments perhaps when things would fall or one would wake me up, but never anything dangerous] you could try taking to it, perhaps ask if it wouldn't mind leaving the rocking horse in the toyroom [or wherever you normally keep it] but unless you see actual dangerous activity you shouldn't have to worry. most spirits just enjoy the company.
should this get out of hand, you might consider cleansing/protecting the home, but especially the toy, but only as a last resort. the spirit doesn't seem to be harmful, perhaps just a child who likes to play with the toy.
@Isroll: Why automatically assume that it is a demon? Most entities, demons included, have better things to do than to haunt a toy.
I do not know where you picked up such a belief, but humans do not have "superior control" over entities.
It is also not a high risk to have a conversation with one.
Many people work with demons and have no issues.
They are like any other entity, treat it with respect and you will get the same in return, but if you are hostile and already thinking that it will end badly, then you will not have a pleasant eexperience.
As others have stated, it may be the wind or some other mundane issue, but if those have been ruled out, try communicating with the entity, and if you are still having issues, banish, cleanse and ward.
@Valishka Demons that we know of are here for the down fall of humanity. There are millions of them and will set them selves on the simplest of tasks. I simply stated that in most cases demons will posses objects rather than something else. That's if it even is a spirit and not wind. Fear weakens us to be susceptible to more demon. This was just my input, sharing what I take as fact whether it's different or not from others so that the person who asked for help can decipher between the information to know what to do.
