Well its natural that sounds affect magick.it alter our brain waves on some level.( I know there's better terms)
Depressing music helps dark while christan rock helps white.while celtic boost earth.
Some forms of water sounds help water.songs with passion helps fire.
In the thread above, I mentioned vibration (ceremonial magick,) mantras (Eastern tradition,) banishing with laughter (chaotic,) and using rhyme and rhythm (respectively Wicca and Shamanism)... all are sound magicks.
Even though most people find it too affected, too "Charmed" and fake, I like rhyming chants and I like them even better with melody. Too bad I can't write music, and there aren't many imperative pop songs out there... but the songs I hear that are, I learn them as spells.
Many would that you have to either write the charm yourself or inherit it from some ancient mystical bardic tradition from long before there were record companies-- and to stop being so silly to confuse a song that's pretty or a song that you like with True Arcane Energy (tm) -- but I still say it works if you make it work. Hope this helps!
i'm not sure about this but i do know that druming can help you enter a trannce
i've noticed that people which is listening to a certain type of music are acting and thincking in a certain way
i allso noticed that there is more and less powerfull music and that people with well developmed physical abillities listen to heavier and more powerfull kind of music
Well when you think about it the chants used in some spells is almost like a song it self. So It wouldn't suprize me if music could play some part in magic.
