I have written a forum/thread about the Farie Circle in my front yard and I would like to learn some more about them. I need to know what they like to eat and what I shouldn't do to provoke them.
My stepmom just went out and left a plate of honey for them but I don't know if they would enjoy that. I think I read somewhere that they liked sweets but I don't think candy and such is what they meant.
In my last forum/thread someone said to NOT walk through the small, now large, circle of mushrooms which is, as I believe, a Farie Garden or Farie Circle. My stepmom has been walking through it, even though I told her not to. Is she safe? Are Faries dangerous or just little tricksters? She claims that they've been playing tricks on her.

I do not know much about Faeirie Rings, so I will be of no use there.
There are several things that you could do, you could perform an act of service, (like cleaning up the earth), milk, honey, I have given them cookies before haha. Just do what feels right.
If you promise them something, do not break it.
Most will not attempt harm, although there are some, like the Pooka and Siren, who are anything bit friendly. According to the stories.
I work alot with Faeries and I can see them. I was born with this gift. The honey they will love, anything sweet. Even nuts, berries and seeds. If your wondering why the food isn't going from the plate its because the Fae "eat" the energy of the food and not the physical food itself. Faeries can be evil but not always. I still wouldn't recommend walking through the circle though. I once walked into a piece of forest and they scratched my ankles because they thought I was bad, but afterwards they learned to trust me in that place. How long is the circle there and when did it appear? Is it I a special place etc?
SHe should be fine. Also, candy totally works. Trickster fay(what we label as ''pixies'' with enormous flashy butterfly wings), are the ones that will most likely take your offering and not do anything for you if you ask them to in this world.
And yes, I am definitely encouraging you use fay and fairy magic in getting stuff in your life, rather than just leaving offerings to make them go away. It's not commanding spirits, and it's not slavery. Just business.
As long as she don't destroy the mushrooms when she goes through the circle, she may be fine. With the honey offerings, she might be in good terms with them even if she did cross the circle.
Many people do not believe in Faeries because they were raised to believe they do not exist, and they forgot their innate knowledge of them through the similar conditioning of society as they grew older. This creates a stigma surrounding believing and experiencing a connection with faeries in the common world. This connection can often be so strong that they do not wish to accept any evidence of the existence of Faeries, and try to rationalize every encounter. This is the result of the fear of certian consequences, which was the basis for the conditioning they experienced. The consequences, which may be feared, include being scolded, told they are ignorant, being seen as a joke to others, being discredited and many others.; the fears from person to person varies by their individual experience. Nonetheless, they can have a truly scarring and lasting effect on many people, preventing them from being able to connect with Faeries wholly or even partially.
