Wicca as an occupation

Dear friends!
This thread may be uncasual but whatever.

As you may know, I really like Wicca. What I'm asking here is, if you have any suggestions how could I perform witchcraft for living? Maybe opening a shop with some materials? I would be glad if you could help me :)

Blessed be!

Remember that Witchcraft and Wicca are not the same thing.

Wicca is a religion.

Witchcraft is a type of magical craft that can be practiced by anyone, no religion involved.

So, yes, there are people who make a living using Witchcraft. Some read Tarot, runes, or other forms of divination professionally. Some use dowsing to help locate water or lost items. Some become involved in alternative medicine such as herbalism, massage therapy, and healing touch. And certainly there are many who open shops or on-line stores.

Take a close look at what sort of income you need and whether using Witchcraft will meet your needs in terms of income before you jump into trying to use Witchcraft as a means of providing a living. Many of the ways that Witchcraft is used professionally are better for providing a bit of additional income on top of your regular job.

as stated Wicca and Witchcraft are different, but you could open a spiritual/witchy shop, sell spells/tarot readings online, teach classes, or try writing books on the subject. i would try and find a local pagan shop and try working their or at the very least speaking with someone who runs a witchy shop to understand what to expect.

reading your profile however i feel you have a lot to learn before diving into being a 'professional witch' read and practice more. it's nice to have a dream, but take the next couple years to gain more wisdom, look into studying things like business, finances, if you're interested in selling books a few writing classes wouldn't hurt. good luck to you.
