Bushfires in Australia!

Hello all, if you live in Australia, you would have heard of the unbelievable devastation that bushfires have caused across the nation. At the moment, in Victoria there have been over 55,000 hectres of bushland, grassland and property destroyed and its still going out of control! I have a property of 100 acres, with 40 head of innocent cattle, that are up there under threat! Our land is totally at the mercy of the forces of nature! is there anything magickal i could do!? I have to do something, i just feel so helpless!

About the only thing that I can think of (at this point) would be to try casting a protection spell on the property, the fire after all is an element try looking into elemental magick, but for one person on such a large fire, it would take a lot of energy from a lot who truly believe just to detour it and then I'm not so sure. It is after all nature, which I hate to say, happens for a reason (the will of the Gods, in a manner of speaking). I know that is not what someone in your position wants to hear and I'm sorry, I do feel for you. I was not meaning any of this to sound mean.

keep in mind, if things appear too dangerous in your area, you should leave.

in Scott Cunninghams Earth Power book, he speaks of knot magic used to protect a person or place. take a long cord [hopefully cotton or some natural fiber] and tie nine knots in it. with each one visualize something you see will protect you from harm [shield, weapons] then hang it in your house, or your barn, or carry it with you.

sorry, i don't know for one specifically for fire, got a scare once as a kid. these people with a plot of land close to my families farm decided to burn some brush even though it was dry and windy that day, and we told them not to. of course it caught our hayfield on fire and it started making its way down towards our farm house and our neighbours. it was put out [only a few feet away in fact] but we were still scrambling to grab our animals and certain family heirlooms.

That is also common in California but we called them wildfires which is uaually the case Arson
