Much like with study for basic topics for tests, not everyone can expect soothing music with no lyrics and such to help them concentrate while studying or this case Meditation. Usually for me I listen to heavy metal and such because its what my mind feels comfortable with. So I suggest using your favourite music, I have no hate towards the "Trance and Meditation beats" but sometimes it just doesn't work.

some of the Final Fantasy X music doesn't have lyrics to it, and Legend of Zelma Ocarina of Time is good too. FFX Hymn of the Fayth has lyrics but they are slow and pretty to listen too, just keep the volume low, and that should work fine. And yes... I do use these when I get the chance.
