Mabon-Autumn Equinox-21st

Hey everyone! Mabon is coming up, as most of you all know. What are you guys going to be doing? I am going to have a cup of tea, followed by giving thanks to our plentiful harvest by collecting some fallen leaves and some soil. I am also going to be cleaning up a little and preparing for our cold days leading up to Winter.

I'm going to drink a cup of tea, and sit outside (hopefully it isn't too chilly). I may actually take some of the leaves (If they're pretty, and stuff them in a book. I then might leave a little wheat bread for the animals to eat.

sitting outside drinking tea in the morning is common for me so i'll be doing that. today i'm getting ready for my coven, so i'll be cleaning and collecting all the stuff i need for the circle today, and baking tomorrow. i'll be making stew for everyone, might make apple pie or something too, but it's going to be a short circle because people are busy, one with school and two others work the next day.

I have decided to dedicate my whole weekend to Mabon! Its going to start tomarrow night with wine and deserts and a group of my fellow craft workering lady firends.

Luckily where I live there is a renaissance festival this weekend and I have plans to run a booth with a friend of mine. There will be much feasting and mead, dancing and fun.

Then I am going to end it off on Sunday night with a bit more feasting, drinking, and then a nice giving of thanks to those entities and elements that bless my life.

I'm always feeding the wild rabbits, squirrels and birds in my area, so that won't change. Walks among trees and nature...again, a pretty normal thing for us.

But we will be making three different soups and cornbread. And of course, it wouldn't be harvest time without drinking hot apple cidar outside under the night's sky.

I'll also be cleansing and recharging my protections on my home and our amulets/wards.

I don't do much for Mabon. The biggest sabbats in my house is Samhain, Yule, Eostre and Beltaine because they're my daughter's favorites, so we go all out.

I'm going to do a ritual that I made. I'm so excited now that today is Mabon, it's going to be the first ritual that I do. Blessed be.

We'll be doing a ritual, and a gratitude rite. :) We'll also be making incense! And mainly being outside enjoy Nature. ^_^
