*Lesson 2: Personal Magic

Hey to all in our coven,

So I know its been a long while but here is my next lesson on Personal Magic as I am going to call it.

So everyone of course nomatter what you believe in I am writing this example in my families point of view. So I recently experinced teaching my guy bestfriend how to stop misusing his gift and train himself to understand his power more. So,I let him borrow my book of shadows to help him understand what I ment and read through it. That night I was sleeping and I felt very odd and drained the next day. So to mt surprise while out to dinner with my friend he had explained he tried to cast 4 different spells 2 of protection and 1 to contact his past life and the other I don't remember but he used a circle. So, I had to firmly teach him that when using another persons spell the created and has thier own energy within the spell you risk draining the power of the witch or etc and potientally causesing fatal death because you are drawing power from a source unknown to you.

In all this example is to one show your book of shadows is your own personal book and it can be shared but in my line of magic you have to becarful becauase another example before knowing of my own personal energy and power. I used tp cast this time spell to forward by day faster and it worked everytime but beig a novice witch I didn't realize I was gettign weaker and slept all the time because my body was trying to renergize itself to replenish what I had lost. So one must becarful when using spells and potions or anything pulling from your own energy because nomatter how powerful your will maybe some can cause fatal consequences.

Aslo, last example I was using a circle to empower my banishing a evil spirit spell my cousin created but I wanted to enhance it and it worked but the cost was I lost my gifts for awhile. Excatly 2 months it sucked but nature has her way with teaching the balance of earth and everything that is natural.

So in all one must becarful when using someones spell, because you never know the intention behind it or what a unknowlingly consequence to not knowing how to really do any spell.

Hello. My name is Ahorn Erde, as I'm sure you can tell, haha. I had actually joined the Council about a week or two ago and hadn't known there were any classes currently going on. Is it too late for me to join, or can I start with this lesson?

Another great lesson. I remember a few years back when my wand broke, i had to throw it away and for the next few times i did a spell or ritual I felt like I had less power.

Ahorn you can always join in :) I know the rose made a lesson plan schedule so its in the form on page 3 and to wiccandeity defintly thats how it feels because its like loosing a part of you and the power behind it. thank you all hope to see some good written papers on my lesson :)
