Well its a matter that during the full moon night energy working are at their highest when the moon is at its highest peak. So in a sense, yes, time does have some factor in this matter.

it really just depends. yes it's powerful, but depending on what spell it may not be the best time. if you're consecrating some tools, then i'd agree with you, if you're doing a banishing spell, then i'd say no, since when you want something sent away from you should be cast when the moon is waning turing into the new moon, cast spells for things you want away from you. but that's if you follow moon phases, some don't.

also alot of people may not beleive this but i've ahd alot of good experiences with using the power of the full moon as a time to perform powerful cleansing's banishings exorcisms and wardings. I think it's all in how you approach the idealogy of the full moon i see it as it's most powerful although perhaps not it's most wise point, and with that immense power it canbe channeled like light to banish the darkness that dwells within once life.

Yes but midnight is not necessarily the midpoint/apex of the moon phase. If you studied astrology, or simply looked it up you would know this. From midnight to one am has been known as the "witching hour" but not for that reason. Witches often cast during the darkness of night, and by the light of the moon for various reasons. One being that the energy of the moon itself is helpful in workings.

It is not because midnight itself is more powerful.

Lol it might be. Regardless the whole point is that the time (midnight) is not significant, unless you desire it to be of course :)

Midnight would depend on the time zone. For instance, when it is exactly midnight in London, it a few minutes later in Wales.
The moon may have some significance in magic, I cannot see how midnight does.

I also recognize midnight through 3 am as the witching hour.
However the powers attributed to casting spells at this time is because it is a inbetween time because of the exact lack of clarity that occurs during the 12:00 hour it's between the day you live in and the next one and as you already know in between times are very powerful when casting magic much like casting spells near halloween. Also much like halloween since midnight is the inbetween hour in many places youll find that spirits and other metaphysical entities are more easy to contact or are more active because it is easier for them to manifest during this hour of uncertainty.
